Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
LaunchKit is operated by Rylan Cantu, a sole proprietorship based in Farragut, Tennessee. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: name and email address, collected when you sign up (directly, or via Google sign-in).
Purchase information: order history and the kits you own. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card number.
Site content: the business information, photos, and content you enter while setting up a purchased Business Kit.
Domain information: if you connect a custom domain to a Business Kit, the domain name itself and its DNS verification status.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, and request logs, collected automatically through our hosting provider when you use the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the Service — create and manage your account, deliver purchased kits, and host and publish your site — process payments, communicate with you about your account or purchases, respond to support requests, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and improve the product.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you signed in) and for remembering your light/dark theme preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers as needed to operate LaunchKit, which may include:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Our hosting provider — running the Service and your published sites.
- Domain-related services — verifying and routing custom domains you connect.
- Google Maps — for the optional map embed on published sites.
- Analytics and affiliate program providers — where used, to understand product usage and manage affiliate referrals.
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of LaunchKit or others.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure hosting infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account, purchase, and site information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel a Business Kit subscription, your site is disabled once your current billing period ends, and we retain your data for a reasonable period afterward in case you resubscribe — after that period, it may be permanently deleted. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting support, subject to what we need to retain for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Business Transfers
If LaunchKit is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or a sale of all or substantially all of the business or its assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner as part of that transaction. We’ll provide notice of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You can access or update most of your account information directly from your dashboard. You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion by contacting support. If we ever rely on your consent for a particular use of your information, you can withdraw that consent at any time going forward.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we’ve collected information from someone under 18, we’ll delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, consistent with the Governing Law section of our Terms of Service.
